The College and the Council had already informed the soccer clubs that their pitches were unfit.
John Stabler said: "Our pitch does drain well but to be fair to the College it would be unfair to ask them to make an exception for us.
"Craig Lee at Darlington is happy with the situation as they have not been able to train very well this week because their pitches are also flooded."
