We forced three penalties and the ref warned Huddersfield that the next one was a penalty try. After the game ref Richard James, who'd flown up from Eastleigh in Hampshire for the honour, admitted he was surprised we took the kick for three points instead of stuffing the ball up our jumper and going for seven points.
But he wasn't taking into account the tenseness of the West side which was to cost us the win.
Huddersfield won because when they got near the line they drove for a try with confidence and aggression. We didn't.
