Despite having a numerical advantage for long periods of the game we hardly ever looked like scoring. Our best chance came after five minutes when we were trailing 3-0. We attacked under the posts and looked like driving over but the ref spotted Tonesy stamping and he was sin binned ... and they cleared.
Darlington's No 8 Bryan Dixon followed shortly after and was then sent off on 30 minutes for his second yellow - a professional foul. We were 17-0 down at this stage and might have been expected to take advantage.
It wasn't too happen. Hodgy was yellowed after 47 minutes whenh he was coming back from offside only to be hit in the face by a pass from Craig Lee.
Darlo went further ahead and were 27-0 ahead after 62 minutes when Chocky swung a punch in full view of the ref.
Eight minutes later Tim Sawyer saw yellow after a melee on the half way line. Others could have gone with him.
Darlington then stretched away to their 48 points.
