Stabler Pins Hopes on Video
Chocky
West coach John Stabler is hoping that a video of Chocky Davies's sending off last Saturday will help him at his disciplinary hearing. The game was being videoed - apparently by a referees assessor - and Stabs wants it to be made available.

There's no doubt that Chocky used both his arms and his legs to bring down the Aspatria scrum half as he broke from a tap penalty. Referee Ged Stone had just blown for the penalty to be retaken and flashed the red card when most people were expecting a yellow - at worst.

But it was by no means the worst incident in the game with most of the rest going unpunished.

If Chocky is banned it will be a major blow to both him and the club. He has been on superb form so far this season and has been playing with great discipline.
