Cleckheaton Game Rearranged
Panda
December 28th is the date pencilled in for the trip to Cleckheaton. The game should have been played this weekend but the hosts are playing Nottingham in the Powergen .. so we have an extra week in which to gird our loins for the visit of Morley.

We will be without Andrew Hare who suffered an horrendous knock which dislocated both his elbow and shoulder.

The youngster spent a very uncomfortable time in hospital as a team of doctors struggled to put everything back in place and will be out for the rest of the season.

It happened when both he and Tim Sawyer stopped an overlap on the line ... now Panda knows what its like to be tackled by Sawyer!

Let's hope he makes a full recovery. He had already scored what might prove to be the try of the season, in the friendly at Vale of Lune, but never got the same amount of ball in the few league game he has played this season.

John Stabler is on the lookout for new backs but is finding it difficult ... for all the usual reasons.

Several of the Under 18's have now followed Panda by reaching their 18th birthday - including the very promising Carl Miller - but the 18's are now in a very strong competition of their own.
