The County took an early 7-0 lead with a converted try. Aarron Myers, playing at outside centre, pulled a try back for West. Just before half-time County scored another converted try to lead 14-5.
In the second half inside centre Steven Short scored two tries, the first converted by James Evens, to give West a final 17-14 victory.
