Big Stu is itching for a game. He claims he's never been fitter and, having watched the visitors in the Powergen game at Darlington, feels West have nothing to fear.
West Park lost that one but beat Darlington in their first home league match by 41-37!
At the same time a disjointed West went down 30-7 at Chester in a game team manager Dave Ince says "we could and should have won."
He adds "We were out of sorts, and a but rusty, but we still had the chances and the lads know we should have had more out of the game."
West got on the wrong side of the referee with too much talking back and the scrum failed to hold up on too many occasions losing numerous balls against the head.
Forwards coach John Painter will be working on that this week. Prop Michael Geritz could well return, after being unavailable last week, but Carlo Robinson is out after cracking a rib in training.
Tim Sawyer will be missing this week but Matt Emmerson has now signed and it could well be a back row of Emmerson, Tones and Bennett. Young Henry was voted player of the match by Chester and reckons he tackled everything that moved.
