On paper we couldn't have a better opportunity. The Maroons are currently bottom of the league after going down by more than 100 points at runaway leaders Mowden Park last week.

It will take a minor miracle for them to escsape their second successive drop, but they're a proud club and will be fighting for their lives.

Last week they were hit by injuries having gto blood several second team players -  Mowden took full advantage.

But we know from our visit to a positively tropical Scratcherd Lane at the beginning of the season that Morley have some quality players, and winger and kicker Simon Bradshaw is still one of the league's highest scorers.

That game was one of our worst performances of the season, and it  saw an end to Jon Norris's playing career. Nogger tore his shoulder making a vain attempt to stop one of the home side's big runners.

Morley are expected to have some players returning for their second sucessive trip up the A1,

We will have both Adam Coates and Gareth Foreman back, but Tom Dixon is away and Anth Carr continues to have work commitments.

Fortunately, one of the features of this season has been the way  players have come up through the Stags and performed tremendously well. Michael Hogan and Ben Lloyd are just  two who will be featuring against Morley, with Gareth Eddy and Stephen Stockdale continuing their return after injury.

Eddy replaces the still injured Michael Taylor at No 8, while Stocker is on the bench after his barnstorming comeback for the Bucks last week.
