Lymm Preview
Believe it or not we're on the road again. This time the venue on the other side of the  M62 is Lymm - the only side to have won a league game at Brinkburn in the last two years ...

The score back on October 5th was 5-0 in a strange game where a couple of penalties would have won the game, and where in the dying minutes a sin-binned prop was allowed back on because of an injury to a second row who'd moved up to replace him.

Lymm tackled their socks off to achieve their victory - but we probably feel we are owed one.

We could also do with the points. The string of away games has helped us slip to 9th in the table and the ambition is still  to finish in the top four.

Lymm are eights point ahead in 6th place, but we have the Morley home game in hand, and 6 out of the last 9 games will be at Brinkburn. A win would give us a nice springboard for all of those home games.

There are a couple of changes to the side which gave Rossendale a shock last week. Michael Taylor is available so he comes back at No 8 allowing Tom Dixon to return to the second row.

Replacement Colin Cheslin made a dramatic impact when he came onto the wing last week, so he retains his place with Greg Edwards dropping down to the bench where he can provide cover right across the backs.

Anth Carr is due back from holiday and will be either on the bench for the firsts or in the Stags side which takes on Tynedale at Brinkburn. That means the youngest front frow in the league continues its good work.

West: Stu Waites, Scott Butcher Andrew Cheslin, Gav Robinson, Colin Cheslin, Gareth Foreman, Andrew Foreman, Ross Wood, Liam Bailey, Adam Coates, Tom Dixon, Andrew Davies, Dan Boatman [c], Jon Boatman, Michael Taylor. Reps: Michael Hogan/Anth Carr, Ben Lloyd, Greg Edwards.
