Last week showed just how unpredictable things are. We took on a Bradford and Bingley side which had won its previous three games - scoring almost 150 points in the process - but came out reasonably comfortable winners.
Across country Birkenhead Park took on local rivals Waterloo who had won only a couple of games, but who had picked up a fair few losing bonus points. Few would have predicted Loo winning by 59-14.
So who can predict what will happen at Upper Park whenh we take on Birkenhead? Will Park bounce back after the local humilation and can we keep up the workrate and tackling which knocked the Bees back last week?
There are changes to the team which started against the Bees. Ross Wood finished the game and starts in the front row in place of the unavailable Anth Carr, while late try scoring hero Greg Edwards moves inside to his more favoured outside centre position taking over from Luke Watson who has work commitments. Scott Butcher returns on the wing.
Tom Dixon still has a hamstring niggle so Stephen Stochdale once again packs down alongside Chocky with Michael Taylor continuing at No 8.
Gareth Eddy is fit again and will be on the bench alongside Michael Hogan and Zac Southern.
