Top Award For Club
The club has won the Hartlepool Sports Council award for Outstanding Team Performance of the Year - and coach Tim Sawyer has won the award for Schools Sports Co-ordinator of the Year.

The awards were presented last night by Pools legend Richie Humphreys at a ceremony at the Seaton Sports club.

The team award was received by Director of Rugby Kevan Oliphant in recognition of the achievements of the Firsts, Stags and Bucks in winning their leagues plus the cup victories for the Stags and Bucks.

Tim's award is for his work away from the club  as a PE teacher.

Chairman of Rugby Les Smith said: "It was a tremendous end to the season for the club and rewarding to see that other sports people in the town  recognise  what our teams have achieved this season.

"We are were also delighted to see that Tim's  hard work in has day job has been recognised."
