Fixture Fun
The RFU have ruled that our outstanding game at Northern should now be played on Saturday April 30th.  But that could well change ....

The problem is that the previous Saturday is the one set aside for both the first round of the new National Championship [for the winners of all level 6 leagues] and the play-off between the runners-up of N1E and N1W to see who gets promoted.

As things stand we have a  fair chance of being involved in one of those games, and it may well be that the game at Northern may be a vital one for both promotion and relegation issues. If that is still the case come mid-April something will have to change.

These are the rearranged fixtures:

Saturday 2nd. April

 Carlisle  v  West Hartlepool;  Durham City  v  Team Northumbria;
Hartlepool Rovers  v  Pontefract;   Morpeth  v  Percy Park;  Northern  v
  Old Crossleyans.

  Tuesday 19th. April.

  Old Crossleyans  v  Pontefract.

  Saturday 23rd. April (Easter Sat.).
Carlisle  v  Cleckheaton;  Durham City  v  Wheatley Hills;  Morpeth  v
  Team Northumbria;  Northern  v  Pontefract

  Saturday 30th. April.

Durham City  v  Carlisle;  Morpeth  v  Wheatley Hills;  Northern  v  West
Hartlepool;  Old Brodleians  Team Northumbria.    (4)

  Saturday 7th. May.

Carlisle  v  Hartlepool Rovers;  Cleckheaton  v  Morpeth;  Wheatley Hills
  v  Northern.

Presumably we'll have to play Northern midweek before April 23rd? I see Old Crossleyans and Pontefract are playing on a Tuesday.
