The returning Danny Cookland was to score the first of his 2 tries next and he was to be influential throughout the match.
On 30 minutes James Fleet in the unaccustomed role of hooker was next to score after 1 of several surging runs he was to have.
Then right on the stroke of half time centre Liam Rutherford powered over.

Half Time 17-5.

West now struggled to use the wind in the 2nd half until Cookland scored his 2nd try.
This was followed by fly half Matty Smithies scoring wide out.
The scoring was completed by Prop Tim Blades after good work from the forwards.

West finished off the game with only 13 men as Full Back Ryan Thomas & James Fleet had to go off after taking knocks.
It looks like Thomas may be out for a couple of weeks with damaged neck muscles.

Final Score 34-5.
