The club approached the company's head office with details of our plans for Brinkburn following the signing of the 50 year lease with the College.
West Chairman Peter Olsen says: “We have a number of extremely valuable local sponsors, but it’s particularly rewarding to be recognised by a national company who appreciate our role in the local community.
“As well as the four senior teams playing out of Brinkburn we are also the biggest youth organisation in the town with almost 300 youngsters playing rugby every weekend.
Chris Scott, The Carphone Warehouse’s Regional Manager says: “We’re delighted to be working with the West Hartlepool Rugby Club, the club plays a very important role in the town and we feel that their plans for the future are well worth supporting.
“The club will also help us with team building for the staff at our two Hartlepool outlets so we are all looking forward to a successful season both on and off the pitch.”
