No doubt that bitter blow will be in Cleck's mind but there's far more at stake at Brinkburn [kick off 2.15] with the loser almost certainly left without a realsitic chance of getting out of the bottom three.
Cleck arrive just one point ahead of West and, to be honest, it would be a major achievement for either side to escape the drop given the fact that Rochdale are in rasionable form and 13 points ahead of the relegation zone. But while there are at least four points available in every game there is hope.
Anth Carr returns from injury to lead West. Carlo Rob isnon has work commitmen ts so John Grenwell will prove a more thna bale deputy while Scott Jordan is down in London playing for the Independent Schools Barbarians against the Welsh Under 19's.
Colin Cheslin takes over the 15 shirt with brother andrew on one wing and darren Thomas on the optehr. Gareth Keerv is fit and makes a welcome return to the side where he replaces Peter Hodgson who is unable to play following his mandatory three week rest after being concussed at Middlesbrough.
In the back row Jonny Boatman has family commitments so brother Dan takes his shirt with Dave Garside coming in.
