After receiving the referees report the cub's own disciplinary panel banned him for three weeks from December 2nd.
But, at the RFU hearing at Sunderland last night, he was banned for four weeks also effective from December 2nd.
The 22 year old West skipper has been full of remorse since the incident and his apologies include David Glendenning, the player he punched, who was also up before the panel at Sunderland following his own sending off later in the same game.
Carr will of course, miss this week's loge game against bottom club Aldwinians but will be back in contention for the visit to York on January 5th.
