Colin Cheslin scored twice for the firsts with fellow winger Danny Weegram getting the third. After the forwards try fest against Billingham last week it was good to see the backs getting in on the act.
Paul Williamson made the first with a blindside break following a ruck. His second came on the stroke of half time after a quick passing move along the backs.
Immediately after the break Danny Weegram pounced with his first touch after replacing Andrew Hare. Again the ball went blind after a rolling maul and Weegram's trademark sidestep saw him home.
All three tries were in the corner giving Wallis little chance with the conversion - but he did hit the post with a penalty.
The Stags coaches were nore than pleased with the display of their team. It was a physical encounter which Graham Sotheran said was excactly what the side had needed.
