| The 76 seater includes dressing room space underneath suitable
for minis and juniors and will also come with
security shuttering. The Board has agreed in principle to make the investment and will meet to give the final go-ahead next week. The Stand was "spotted" by secretary Malcolm Wallis on his travels on Teesside. Local company Sitesafe built it as a demo model and will show it at an exhibition in London in early September before bringing it to Brinkburn. Hopefully, it will be in place on the Catcote Road side of the pitch for the second league game against Driffield on September 22nd. Club Chairman Peter Olsen says: "It is another very significant step forward for the club and is possible because of the new deal we have negotiated with Marstons brewery. "However, we still need to raise funds, specially as we have requested high level security shutters, so we are considering asking supporters to help us by sponsoring a seat for £50 which will bear their name." Supporters will also discover that further much needed dressing room accommodation has been provided at the club itself thanks to another donation of three portacabins by Chris Musgrave. This will help ease the pressure on busy Sunday mornings. |
