West at Home in National Cup

North Two West side Tyldesley will be our opponents in the first round of the National Intermediate Cup ... and at last we will be at home! Last season cost us a few bob in travelling expenses with trips to Gateshead, Huddersfield YMCA and eventual competition winners Stockport.
Tyldesley will visit Brinkburn on October 28th. They finished mid-table in North Two West last season with 22 points from their 22 games.
The Intermediate Cup offers a real prospect of some interesting competition. Last season we were looking likely to win at eventual winners Stockport until Davy Tighe was unlucky to be red carded.
