Afternoon all, following extensive discussions with Mr H Tones and Mr A Carr, it has been decided that the annual Christmas do will be held on Sunday 19th of December (was gonna be tues or thurs but I will be on call 7-9). Meet time is 12:00 (Coatsy at 18:00) at King Johns then on to the club for some entertainment and lots of craic (not you dash)! Please post ur name on this thread, text me, carzy or tonesy if ur coming cos we will be trying to sort some bait out (courtesy of Olly and his crew at tandoori nights). Everyone welcome to come along, player or non player (prob one of chrissy youngs mates!) and you might catch the rare sight of slob nearly smiling.

P.s will someone let chockies mrs know so she can sort him out some appropriate clothes and not let him wear snakeskin loafers!

P.p.s Dicko (kidder) you may have to bring your own desk to hide behind this year!

You will be pleased to know that in recognition of the tremendous results achieved by the Firsts, Stags and Bucks so far this season the Club is providing a barrel of lager for the players party.

Same as usual Wilkie. We'll just have the leftovers.

ETA. This post is meant entirely tongue in cheek. Just for all those uptight ppl who think it is a negative post or a dig at people.

Tongue-in-cheek is a phrase used as a figure of speech to imply a statement or other production is intended ironically and not to be taken at face value. (Wikipedia)

Your both more than welcome at the do(not too sure about u though Peter!) as previously mentioned as are all the ams. Broken army try posting something other than a negative comment or something about Karlos, it's your type of attitude which aims to create 'us and them' when in reality that is not the case.

Sorry, I do not see what the problem is with my post.

I stated a fact thats all. On a Saturday we are left with the players that are not selected for any other team.

2 words spring to mind, Tongue and cheek.

Broken Army you really have a chip on your shoulder! Like any other club the 4th team get the players that are not selected for the 1sts, 2nds and 3rds!

You are complaining about the Christmas shindig (which Carlo has said EVERYONE is welcome) but I bet you don't turn up!

I'm not complaining about anything. When have I once complained about the get together?

Some people have their head so far up their own ass its unreal.

Again 2 words. Tongue and cheek.

:_)

And you are correct I will not be attending. So there is a relief for you.

I have no problem with selection at all. I expect us to have the best of the rest that aint selected for the 3 other teams.

P.S I have edited my original post, just to clarify matters.
