Looks like they are going to the right club then eh !!

Slightly unfair on the lads! Although it's a shame they felt that they had to move on rather than fight for a place like may other of the youngsters have done recently.

Good luck to them both, the main loss from last years showings is Tom Wilson but both are decent lads with good talent. We also forget that we lost Tom Armstrong and Will Turnbull from the same set of lads to Billingham this summer, lets hope they gain some experience from it all and feel they can return at a later stage.

I see Tom has been selected by Billingham and Will is on the bench. . Good luck to them

Suppose only Army will ever know the logic at his move to Billingham (last season). Every one knows he cannot play Saturdays so what's the point in moving club

Sorry to bump this up but had to reply, yes he does work but if you ask him yourself he will tell you why he trains with Billingham because he really enjoys the coaching he recieves. Not sure you will mention your posts though.

Yes Olly, I understand what you are saying I'm a fossil, just think the profile of the Buck/stags/ams needs lifting. I dont have any answers around this, but as an outsider looking in it doesn't look healthy given the amount of effort put in over many years with these young lads.

To reply to 1-15 if anyone is playing regular fist team at the age of 18 or 19 then they are probably on their way to a better standard club anyway.

And to end with I didn't want to make comments around specific people as I was talking in general terms. Just got reeled in by a faceless braveheart, by the way do these brave souls play rugby in the same manner.

let this go now please

Not sure I agree with the statement of playing 1st at 18 then moving to a better standard club as u put it! Lots of lads in the 1st team currently have been there since they were 18 and have not moved on or up and I presume this will be the same in clubs across the land at most levels. I am pleased with your passion for the development of the youngsters in the club and have first hand experience of the clubs junior sections excellent comitment but is starting to become a bit of a slant on the club!

Some comments on here are absolutely shocking.

The lads who have left are only kids, a couple of whom it seems were thrown in at the deep end last year in a very tough league and did reasonably well.

As always the faceless wonders are having a go and it'd be interesting to know ehther any of them have first team honours. Whatever the situation, I'm sure it'll affect whether they ever want to come back.

Players move on every year and sometimes young lads have to make a move when a gap opens up at another club in order to fulfill their potential and get an opportunity.

I'm sure most people on here understand and appreciate this as is reflected in the fair amount of sensible posts.

Its a breave decision to move clubs and from what I've heard none of these lads expect to walk into the First team.

I agree but I also have to say that there were some even more disgraceful 'welcoming' comments on the Rovers site which I see have been removed. Perhaps we need something similar here.

WPA, I totally agree. Both Rover’s and West’s site are becoming increasingly worse.
I think stronger controls on access and scrutiny of posts needs to be applied.
The content of some the messages being posted are becoming a source of embarrassment to both clubs.

Be aware of "interlopers" who come onto this site with the sole aim of stirring up trouble.

All West players, coaches, committee and supporters that I come into contact with, respect the young players decision to move clubs, regardless of which club they decide to join and wish them all the very best of luck.

Anyone who is personally offended by forum messages on the internet, IMO isn't tough enough to play rugby!

Rovers have locked down their site. The site will be like a ghost town (again). Ballon head & the midget must be PMT'd
