in the no why don't you flash your name up on the message board so gareth can see who you are because by the looks off it you are a bitter and twisted sad twat at the end off the day gareth has made his choice to and that's that it will have been probablys been the hardest choice he will have had to make in his AMATEUR rugby life but he has he wasn't contracted to rovers so he can play for who he wants personally i think he has made the right choice and i think west hartlepools style off rugby will suit him and the team down to a tee i really hope he scores the winning try or even takes the mick out off rovers in the first game

He doesn't need to take the Mick in his first game, he already has. He has taken money from rovers in wages and a job organised by rovers. Serves rovers right I suppose for throwing money around. And yes I am very bitter and absolutly gutted that ge has left as he is one of the best players I have watched at rovers. Loyalty? Doesn't exist anymore money talks now and it's bad for the game at our level

He isn't getting paid.

Gareth has moved clubs so what. In the no if you are in the know so much he must have reason for leaving rather than money.

There must be other issues that are far bigger than just one player. He is still young and wants to learn more about the game and from the likes of Stubbs and Olly how can you blame the lad.

Its people like you that will ultimately stopping returning him when he has got better as a player.

Best of luck to Gareth. An excellent player for Rovers, always committed and an example to the younger lads around him.

It's always dissapointing to see a quality player leave and it chokes a bit that he has moved to West but he obviously has his reasons.

That said, it would be interesting to know if the rumours of wages and getting people jobs etc are true rather than teh blanket denials from people who don't even post their names to give any gravity to what they're saying.

We hear a lot of rumours and most are probably just that, but some come from pretty reliable sources.

Not sure this is a fair place to explore anyones moral standings and loyalty, very unfair to a player who, along with Andrew, been the only interesting thing for rovers to watch! I can understand their ( fans) frustration about the move and the lack of transparency around how their club attract/fund players but they should speak to the appropriate people, Gareth and rovers board! On a personal note, I think it's an excellent signing for us and if andrew also arrived, would be even better and add much needed flair and go forward in the back line! Any way must go, got a 3 foot flat top board to clean before the big man arrives! X

So are you saying Gareth will not recieve some form of payment to play for West!

Either from the club or from a sponsor!
