You may find the Ams used the facilities before West did.

Hartlepool should be proud about having lots of rugby clubs, whilst AMs may not be the stereotypical 'club'(own clubhouseetc), they still constitute.

It's shame about Tech, and it would be a good thing if West, Rovers, H'poo, Old boys, Athletic, Ams all stayed in existance.

However, as an outsider, it is abit miffing when the AMs play out of the same clubhouse AND wear the same colours....!

shocking what is your beef with the ams? you clearly have never played with or against them as you would not even be having this discussion.

they are absoulte credit to rugby in the town always good craic whether winning or losing and also the top rugby orphanage in the town, any player from any club in the town would be guranteed a run out for the ams in any game they play that i'am sure of.

so what if they are sort of umbrella club of west, all i can say to quinny and the ams is long may your good work continue and dont listen to tools like shocking!

good luck for the up and coming season and no doubt our seconds will be looking forward to playing use....... up the old boys!

Totally agree with Ruprett, the Ams provide a niche in the game for all players, from any club, new and old, playing a good standard of rugby with a wide range of experience.

The description “Top rugby orphanage in the town” is perfect.

Well-done Love Spuds and co. keep up the good work and ignore the jealous ranting of the few.

ps. The shirt looks great, would be proud to wear it.
