Having stood like everyone else who watched this match in pouring rain for much of the first half a neutral observer would have been unsure which side was near the top of the league and which one was not. Particularly in the forward exchanges: where West looked to be getting the better of their opponents for most of the game.

There was comment from a number of Stockport players and spectators after the game who thought that this was the toughest examination their forwards had been subject to so far this season.

On this performance it shows that club has plenty to look forward to.

Of course the club has a lot to look forward to. This season was always going to be hard and i think the lads who are turning out each week are showing true grit and determination, not just giving up. There is a great mixture of young and older lads in the team and the club throughout and things are getting better all the time.

How did the stags get on?

Lost about 35-5. Played better in the second half but missed some of the klads who were playing for the firsts.

I agree with Mikey Boy things need to pick up and fast. It is allright saying we had lots of possession but you cant get away from the fact that they scored 31 poinst and we didnt score any.

Don't know what happened. The thread closed itself and deleted a couple of messages. I reopened it but the messages were lost.

Not according to the RFU it's not!
When I registered Cam the only one the RFU would recognise was Anthony Cameron who played for Tech until 01/01/2008.

You should know - but Cam has to go on the match sheet as Cameron Anthony ! The RFU look at every single name and if it isn't the same as the one they have registered we get into trouble. For instance, Carlo has to be called Robinson Michael on the match sheet.
