..the name of this thread is "National 3 North"!
Isn't that self-explanatory Mr. Sparrow?
Not to me it is!
National 2 will be "National 2" formerly "National 1".
Keep up ... it's quite simple really!

The league does not deserve the title national three north! one it is not national, and two it wont produce the standard of rugby that people will expect from "national" clubs! seems that over the years alot of clubs have worked their arses off to get into the 'national leagues' and some clubs (no offence rossendale etc) have been handed such status with relative ease! The league should be entitled north and thats it!

thats a good point above - how can it be a national league when its only teams from the north?

They could have just done away with National 3 and continued to call level 5 North One etc

It will have to be Sheffield won't it? Unless someone volunteers, I think Chester have the right to refuse after playing in Midlands 1 last year.

Midlands 1 is definitely weaker than North 1 so it might be in the interests of a team looking for a promotion to bite the bullet and visit some exotic places in the midlands!

Yep it is Sheff Tigers, who have dropped out, and Chester back.

Interesting to look at North 1 West, a league below National North 3:

ALTRINCHAM KERSAL
ASPATRIA
BLACKBURN
BROUGHTON PARK
BURNAGE
LEIGH
LIVERPOOL ST. HELENS
LYMM
NEW BRIGHTON
NORTHWICH
SANDBACH
TYLDESLEY
VALE OF LUNE
WILMSLOW

Some very big names of when I were a lad

Do I take it Aspatria have moved leagues from North 2 East that they were in this season.
