stags 2nd best team in the town

hi guys as the stags have won the candy leauge i was wondering if anyone else shares the same opinion as i do. And that the stags are the second best team in the town obviously behind our first team.

If you are basing your claim on results than your logic is rubbish. The 3rd best team in the town after Rovers 1st team and then your 1st team.

My god this has to be the statement that removes the ability for anyone at west to claim Rovers are arrogant.
I am sure Old Boys, Seaton and Rovers would have something to say about that.

I agree with Tinker's logic. Rovers 1st got beat off Mowden II team who got beat off the Stags so it must be true.

It was Rovers "A" that got beat off Mowden 2nds
Rovers Heughers were unlucky not to turn Mowden 2nds over a few weeks back.
The way I see it is that there are 3 or 4 difficult fixtures and another 2 or 3 teams we haven't played in recent memory in the CANDY and the rest are teams that Rovers Heughers have already proven they can beat comfortably and regularly.
Short memories very much so.
Rovers Heughers were unlucky not to turn Mowden 2nds over a few weeks back.

the heughers may have only narrowly beaten by MP 2nds. However the stags beat them comfortably i believe it was a 40 point margin.
And your firsts still got beat off MP 2nds no matter what you say.

also, robo-bick, if it is based on results alone, regardless of which level rugby, then i think you will find seaton are the best team in the town!

I know, I know, I know.....I cant believe that I bit at that one.
Well done Tinker, mind you Pughy said he's still had bigger pets than you.
Generally, it has been a great season for all Hartlepool clubs and long may it continue. Hopefully, we (Rovers) can push on and strive for promotion next year and get into the same division as you lot, it certainly makes the season interesting.
The Heughers are joining the candy league this should help them improve vastly as it has the stags, there's nothing better than a derby match is there?
