Surgeon,

I wasn't sure if that was what was sticking in my mind but I'm sure I remember reading something somewhere that the insurance cover for actual matches was dependent on which constituent County was presiding and what is laid down by the competition organisers. I could (and often am) be totally wrong.

I know clubs RFU insurance should cover most things as long as the member is fully paid up.
