Front Row Bell-end your name explains everything! Do you honestly think that no one is bothered that both Dave and Garse are leaving? Well I can almost gaurantee that 99 % of West members will not be happy to see this happen! Both Dave and Garse have contributed alot to our club both on and off the field and will be a big loss to the club.

Although dissapointed to see both the lads leave i respect their decision and the way that they havent informed everyone of their reasons on this message board. I know that they are more players than these who are not happy with certain things but to put it blunt these are the only two who have had the 'b*lls' to do anything about it!

Good luck Lads

Great work Up with west, like the way you have told the world more players are un happy at west. Nothing like keeping things under wraps. Now all other coaches and clubs know they will be along knocking soon

Just because one or two club members of a club arent happy with certain things it doesnt mean they are not happy overall. Have you ever attended a training session at any club where someone doesnt complain about something? (Even something as stupid as the temprature of the showers!) Have you ever sat in the changing room after a game where someone doesnt complain about something? (Even something as stupid as someone standing on his towel!) Have you ever sat in the clubhouse and someone hasnt complained about something? (Even something as stupid as spilling a bit of his pint)

I imagine that the answer to the all the previous questions is no! So does that mean that all the players from your club are going to leave for pastures new?

It's a tough situation for a Rovers coach I imagine, as the current Rovers 1st team are unbeaten, including beating us. So why risk upsetting your team by putting in either of these two players. If I was a member of the current back row or second row that got replaced after a 100% record I would feel hard done to.

I am sure Rudd is a stronger option for the current back row and would offer alot to Rovers, but on the other side of coin it would be harsh on who gets dropped. Could see Rudd getting on their bench for the rest of the season and D.Garse playing for Heughers. Should of stayed at West if that becomes the case.

i remember a post on the west site a while ago about new signings having to earn their place in the first team by playing in the stags first. Drop borthwick is right in that they cant just walk into the first team and the lads who are playing there this season would be agrieved if they were dropped just because 2 new players had signed. it is up to rudd and garside to take their opportunities when they arise, whether that be from the bench or due to injuries. Either way i'm sure they'll feature at some point and can only enhance an already strong squad.

me leaving had nothing to do with which team i was playing in, 1st, 2nd's or thirds i'd happily play in any of them. it was issue outside of rugby. lets just leave at that. thanks paul rudd
