Its a reunion for all the lads from our U15s team who we played with at West, none of which now play for West and most havent since that time. The majority now play for Old Boys. The only involvement this game has with West is that we all once played there.

You've got to wonder why there are 25 players all early 20's that are no longer playing there rugby at West? Rather than be bitter at Old boys Smurry, why not look at the West development policy and ask your self the question why none of the players in this 'West Runion' squad have chosen to move away? Comments like yours as Lester said are helpful and make West, 'our' club look arrogoant.

This is a bit unseemly but the comment I want to make is that it is just good that these lads are still playing rugby somewhere
Looking at the team sheets for tomorrow we will have about 80 lads wearing West shirts and an Under 18s game on Sunday. That isn't bad considering where the club was a few years ago.
I am not sure we could accommodate any more teams without expanding the facilities and getting more pitches.

The First team pitch last week when i saw it was in the wost state i think i have ever seen it. Still better than Rovers though! :oP
