I'm not going into detail on here. Ask me in the club and I'll tell you if you're a player or a club member.

Combination of subsidising players beer and cost of bar staff perhaps :-!:-!:-!

Just back of my lunch...oh i have seemed to have hit a nerve here...sorry
Dave as well you know i work away at present and cannot get to the meetings i would like to BUT i always Email my concerns to the meeting members before a meeting to ensure or i hope they are raised in my absence
Everything on here...well almost has been brought up by others and all i have done is either give my point of view or backed what i thought was right!!! Do we live in Russia??NO. Do we live in China?? NO We live in a free country where we are freely allowed to put our views accross and live without fear of reprisals from it so sorry if i have hit a pompous nerve here but i will continue to put my FREE thoughts accross and not live in a cloak and dagger society you want us to live in!!!

For the record I don't want a pool table. I don't want a one armed bandit. I like the Banks and our Guinness is excellent. I would like cheaper prices.

players beer is not subsidised its 3 free beer chits after every home game . then after that the players pay the same as everyone else who buys a pint.

That is true and i beleive the away games when they get none should balance it out so not really an issue in my eyes

Free beer chits? That is worse than beer being subsidised. Three pints costs about £7. Times that by 18 and its £126 !

Not as bad as that WPA, if it were, the Ams could not afford to do it
Trust me :)

The players match fees go to off set this and with home and away games included balances out

I meant did you mean the Ams are also in on this?

Yes we offer the same thing as West as we thought if some players were 1 week playing for the Bucks and got the Chits then not really fair if next week playing for the Ams and not getting them. BUT they have to be up to date with match fees to get them

Still confused. Are we saying that four teams get beer chits? That's more than £500. No wonder the rest of us are getting stung at the bar. Think I'll go to the cricket club as well.

Re: pool table

Right. All 4 teams get chits on home games only. Every week they pay 3 quid match fees...this is home and away. This off sets the cost price of the beer given in the chits. Thus giving a little back to the players who roll about in the mud every week. This has no reflection in beer prices or money in West coffers

Is this clearer now?

Look this is getting out of hand. The players pay weekly match fees which go a long way towards paying for the beer chits. They are only subsidised to a small extent by the club.
I wish it would stop snowing so you could all go out and play.
