If you say so Smurray, if you say so. You don't have to read it you know!!
All this thread was about was trying to get a thought or two together to try to raise some funds for West and typically you and a couple of others look down your nose at it and make pathetic comments on it. If you can't say anything constructive about it, best keep quiet!!!

Look, this thread was started to try to get a pool table and possibly a gambling machine in the club. Not to start calling each other and have a go at people just because they have put their ideas forward. But a few blinkered people have turned this into something it was not meant to be
Thanks

Well done Love Spuds, some of the so called “higher echelon” in the club need to start to think before they type.

Leaves a lot to be desired particularly when the dark side are looking in as pointed out about twenty mails ago and some of the clubs that we are due to play like Hartpury! Unbelievable.

I think by the response to all this it is now time for the general committee to put this on the agenda for the next meeting to discuss or put it to the members of the club to see what the majority want?

If you don't like the decisions made by hard working committees get yourselves on the committee and do something instead of whinging.

Yes i am English Teacher and well aware this was on the agenda but i did not start this thread if you look Karlos did and all i did was agree with him.
I feel this is a valid money raiser for the club and well worth a look

look i only put this thread on to see what sort of reply we got from other members of the club. the abuse from the (old farts) committee is a disgrace to themselves and to the club.I was only trying to help the club generate more money for future development of the club.

Disgrace to say the Ams do Bog all for the club.

I personally, when the Ams are at home spend maybe £20 quid in the place, as well as the away players, granted they may only have one pint, but hey it only money isnt it.

Regarding other issues. The poker night held the other week, all bar takings went to WEST not the Ams, Karlois and I together spend at least £100 behind the bar, as for Quinny, god knows he dont need much :oP.

I know a decent establishment along the road that would have happily put us up (for poker nights) and the pints are a damn sight cheaper. You also (before anyone starts) wouldnt get your head punched in.

Over a simple comment made by a member of the Ams, trying to help make money for a club in need of it, all this? For people not on the comittee we wouldnt know any of these issues regarding this and Quinny works away so cannot attend so he couldnt pass on these points raised.

I still think it is something that could be pursued, maybe have a rep out from these pool table rental places and see what he reckons. I remember Brierton Lane and never was any problems with pool tables then regarding ripped clothes, a nice bit of ply wood stopped all that.

I have missed more stuff but cannot be bothered finishing this off at the moment.

Up with Karlos.

Karlos for Chairman. %-):oP
