Personally i think it is a good idea and could generate good income for the club (and much needed)! Also then they could look at the possibility of a Pool Team and more income!!!

I am sure a lot of the lads would use and appreciate a pool table and possibly a Gambling machine which is a great way to generate money!!

I thinks its a good idea - £5 per man - pot the lot

we should also get a pole in each corner so we can have pole dancers because there are no pole dancing clubs in the town - unless you know different

Smurray, a company said they were willing to provide the Fruit machine, install roller shutters over it to secure it and provide the insurance all free and all they were wanting was a 10% cut!!! Where is the risk???
Regarding the Pool Table, Karlos even said put some cross members under the floor to support it and it would be fine
I get the feeling here if you aint thought of it or it does not suit a certain few, you say no and stuff the rest of you. That's the attitude your giving off here

As Smurray said the only way to get a Pool table etc is to fund a brick build.

THere have been numerous events organised over the past 18 months or so which the majority of club members haven't supported.

Maybe if there was more interest in raising money for the club we'd have had one by now.

Well boys, put your recommendations in.
Graham represents the Ams on the Board.
As the club is strapped for cash and if approved, I'm sure the club would welcome the Ams paying for the floor to be strengthen to accommodate a pool table.
Not sure where you get "20 grand mark" from though! Clubs are pulling fruit machines out because no one plays them!

One other point, with regards fundraising.
There a lot of people who come to the club who aren't even members.
Hence, they don't contribute to the club with annual subs.
Some of these then spout off on here.
Do they have the right to have a say? Nope!

How much do you think a Pool Table weighs??? I bet you could get some bods to help do this for free on a weekend. How do you suggest the Ams pays for this?? We purposly said this year no annual subs and your first weeks match fees covers this and advised all to pay yearly subs to West so we aint got any income apart from the bloody fundraisers i do!! We take no part of anything from the bar and have never asked for any as we think the improvements West have done need all of this and have done a brilliant job but how do you suggest we stump up any money??????
Regarding the Bandit, why has a company showed iinterest then?? No way are they a loser, of course they generate a lot of money. It just seems a few stuffy people see it as beneath the club to have these!!!
