Good game today West Buck's, some good young talent on show,
But the ref oh dear fxxked you in the first half and the same to us in the second.

Stags won 20-19 at Westoe.

Thanks for the game Mowden - most of our 3rds lads were under 20 and you gave them a bit of a battering in the forwards but all credit, you played to your strengths and we never gave up

Unfortunetly 2 say i think wen sos came on that was wen we got back into the game, after they had a brief spell of 10/15 mins where they dominated n scored all their tries.

Great result considering the squad we had available. Glad that westoes plan to rough up the young uns didnt pay off in the end.

The Bucks result was a good one also.

Mowden 3rds beat Rovers 2nds (Heughers) a couple of months ago.

God.. He cheats really well doesnt he.. GREAT RESULT LADS...

I wouldn't read too much into them beating the Heughers, we were about 8 players down that day and had to cancel the 3rds game against Wensleydale so we could take 8 of their lads through to Mowden.

Bit disrespectful insomniac to both your own players and mowden - you still had 7 recognised 2nd team players and got beat off a 3rd team - end of story.

And you'r first team got beat off mowden 2nds, which i do believe our seconds beat by around the 40 point mark. Just shows how much of a blip boxing day was!

It's nice to see you lot grasping any small bit of hope you can.

It was an "A" team that played Mowden as a practice match (see the Rovers team selection threads for last week) therefore I'm not convinced the lads will have taken it wholly as a serious match, more a run about to get the booze out of their system.

Travelling anywhere minus 8 key players is difficult, when you lose a couple from the front row, 9 and 10 you struggle. Mowden 3rds were a good 3rd team but I was merely pointing out that it wasn't an accurate gauge of how good the Bucks were in comparison to the Heughers. I think the answer to that is hat they are still not as good as the Heughers and never will be.

When we played Rover's second's we also had half the team missing, Saturdays 3rd team against west bucks was somewhere near, but we were still missing 3 or 4 key players, good fun this message board we should have one !

but you still played atleast half of your first team with a mixture of some of the second teamers against mowden park second team, are you trying to say that your second team cant compete with the likes of mowden seconds? even with a few first teamers in the mix?
