AN OTHER

Either this is just for a reaction, you are a idiot or Quinny is spinning you some ****.

I actually was playing in the game when Quinny finally finished off his knee He will correct me if I am wrong but I think playing against West

Quinny may have been let down in the main by one club member by my understanding. but to suggest the players at the time could or should have done more is complete crap and if you have not noticed for the 1st time some numpty posting on either west or rovers site has genuinely got my back up.

If this complete rubbish has come from Quinny I am astounded and he is not the bloke I thought he was.

I do not play because of a similar situation received no support in a monetary sense from the club I did not expect it and it was not suggested I was entitled to anything.

But as far as the players go I have continued to be a involved in the club (my decision this is not a dig at Quinny I am happy he has stayed involved in rugby) and have always found the players at Rovers over the last 20 years to be much like most clubs a generally a good set of lads.

Just for clarification there is a reaction you prat

Hang on, not sure how this has turned this way but let me clear something up please
Firstly, yes i knackered my knee playing for Rovers against West, unlucky but these things happen
Secondly, i never have once said anyone from Rovers let me down and i did receive a lot of help from them through some very difficult times
Thirdly, this thread is a bit of fun for heaven's sake, nothing sinister or untoward going on. Just a bit of Banter before the Boxing Day game
Cheers!!

Oh and enjoy your Steakbakes!! :oD:oD:oD:oD

Oh and 4th item, everything i post on here goes under my name and everyone knows who i am.

Is it just me or do must people associated with Rover’s who post on this site have an inferiority complex? People are only stating a fact that Rover’s play in a lower league and play against teams that are not as competitive or effectively as good as teams in West’s league, hence the respective league each team plays in. It would not be a pretty result seeing Hull or Westoe play Wallsend, etc.

It’s no different to saying Harlequins (6th in Premership) are better equipped in a game against Redruth (Top of League 2) due to their higher league standing and frequency of scrummaging and competing against higher league opposition. It’s not a statement that berats Redruth, but a simple fact. From a purely rugby perspective it is a valid rugby fact and nothing to do with as “Coops” puts it, “berating the lower leagues” or being “arrogant”.

From reading the post by “Coops”, he seems to be sulking and/or goading! And then just incase, I like the way he puts West start as 20 points favourite – its not golf were you get a handicap Coops.

Really looking forward to this one. Rovers have some quality players in their line up now and have the confiddence of being unbeaten. If they'd A Foreman last season they probably wouldnt have gone down.
Of course we should start favourites but that doesnt mean much on boxing day.
i would expect Stewart to start and Williamson to be at scrum half with Myers in for Morrison who I gather is unavailable.

I think it will be close but West will win by 10 points in the end. Form goes out the window on this one. Lets hope we have a good game!
