Thought i'd have my 10p worth on this debate!
Firstly the matter of it being a league game or not? I always just assumed that teams only played each other twice but honestly dont know for certain! If it is the case then you would expect that the 2 original fixtures would be the ones that count towards the league and any other games are just a bonus. However, if it is the case that you can play each other an unlimited amount of times then yarm have every right to claim the points. I suggest somebody finds out for definite!
As regards 'ringers' i have to agree with the guy from yarm that we benifit from using the TDSOB lads to make up the numbers so should not throw stones!!!
Not trying to upset anyone its just how i see it!
Peter- I must have been carrying an injury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just been on TVL website and it is there in black and white that teams will play each other twice, once at home and once away!
This being the case i find it very disappointing that yarm have in fact had the win awarded! I would hope it is a genuine mistake on their part as it is not in keeping with what the league is all about!
It also says on the website that if a result is disputed mediation will take place!?

honestly Oldge, cant be bothered as same happened last year. Not worth the time and to be honest leaves a bitter taste. I would not care as the Yarm lot are a decent bunch and we enjoyed a pint after the game but for some reason pulled this stunt twice now. Last year i managed to get it turned around. Hold hands up regarding the TDSOB lads as you well know our policy is if you turn up you will get a run out and we have never hid this from anyone and never will.
Anyway lets look forward to a massive session after the Wilf game on Sunday!!!

Perhaps the yarm player might enlighten us as to why so many of your first team "appeared" halfway through your game against Rovers thirds the other week?

At twenty odd five up we thought we'd managed a well deserved victory - only for a fair few of the watching first team (who refused to play a freindly against BBOB the same day after theef didn't turn up because they had an important fixture a week later) to come on in teh last 15 minutes to change thegame.

A teammate of mine asked the bloke running your line what was going on and he couldn't look us in the eye.

Disaapointing to say the least.

I don't wish to get involved but Jasonyarm sounds a good bloke:

'.....but why moan on about it like a pack of girls.'

My thoughts exactly!

Stan - pompously moving away from the love-in
