The 4Ams also got beat. 5 tries I thinks and a couple of conversions to 10.

Some Excellent defence, from Wilkie, Dougy and think its Jonny Wright? (the flanker) the most noticeable.

The better won on the day but we at least beat them at the start off the season in the TVL and this wasnt a league so happy days.

& yes it was johnny wright, he still complained that he had a terrible game :oD hopefully he'll get sum of his fitness back soon aswell

For a littleish lad he puts his body in where it hurts, made some cracking tackles.

He does but sadly looks like a bit of a dodgy shoulder. Hope he is ok and can build it up

I liked tackling but he seems to like it more than I did.

Did you suffer from Yarm introducing 10 1st teamers in the second half as well?

No, their first team did not have a game so most of them started. Thankfully it was NOT a TVL game, even though near the end they tried to suggest it was but of course i put them staight on that one! :oD:oD

I had to bite at these message.
Just to put you in the real picture about the Yarm Game on Saturday.

The score was 34-5, Yarm started with two 1st team players one of which was the Yarm Captain which is returning from injury after 3 weeks out.

All of Yarm enjoyed the game at your place a few weeks ago and the result was right on that day in a hard fought game, I think Amt's won 29-17 ish.
We did not care that Amt had 7-8 1st team TDSOB guys on the pitch and I repeat we enjoyed the game and the crack on and off the pitch.

I understand that you only 4-5 TDSOB guys playing this Saturday but why moan on about it like a pack of girls. For those who played Saturday again the game was played in good spirit and apart from some very strange ref decisions against Amt it was the right result on this day.
There was no way a yellow card incident, never mind 2.

On thursday the Social league were informed of this fixture and our captain, and Yarm players all trated as a league. Why would it not be?
It was a social game played that way and we had some beers afterwards?

A text was received on Sunday that told us it was not a league game and thanked us for the game. ?????

I am confident in saying you tried the same thing last year, you cant just register wins when you have a strong team out....

I repeat all of our players enjoy playing Amt's so why all the rubbish on your site.

tdsob site confirms what I am saying about there 1st teamers......

JASONYARM, yes you tried the same last year and you know this was not a league fixture :-!
This was def not the same team we played the other week but not going to be drawn into this as it is not what we are about or what i thought this TVL was about.
Your first aid man on Sat said something about it being a TVL game and i pointed out it was not and he knew it to which he sort of smiled and went round the other side of the pitch.
Yes we had a couple of TDSOB lads playing this week. 1 in the centre and one playing out of position in the back row along with another of our 50 year old fellas who normally plays full back!!!
If your so desperate to claim the points, have them. To be honest it is nice to win but i am more interested in our lads getting a game on a Sat

Oh and the other 2 TDSOB lads were pretty new to Rugby and came on in the second hald. Both played fine.

Jason yarm,1st of all spuds shouldnt have told you my age Rant over.
This tvsl baffles me......am i right in thinking you can play any team as many times as you can fit them in ? If so when theres a free saturday and a top team and a lower side are free then you could arrange a tvsl game expecting an easy ride to the points,i think ?.I played twice for Yarm last season even scoring against my own squad and enjoyed both games (especially running around oldge in the home game)even in defeat saturdays game was also very enjoyable,food was good too.See you later in the season. :-)

no your only supposed to play each other twice in TVL which we had already arranged. This game was a last minute friendly... hhhmmmm
