Volunteer - very well quoted and I did not mean to imply the cleaning etc at your club isn't up to scratch as I know that you (or others) will spend much time keeping it clean. The number, proximity and flow of your showers is sh*te mate that’s all.

Bottom line I’d rather have crap showers and be promoted rather than the opposite - consider the point closed by myself.

I cannot believe I am reading this about showers cos the irony is hillarious. This is from a bunch of unwashed wallahs who celebrate christmas by having their annual bath in a tin tub in front of an open sea-coal fire.

yes robok there is a difference, they have the posh estates of rift house and owton manor to be proud of,not to mention that nice estate in brierton lane (wasnt there a rugby club up there once?).

In respect of teh Cup Final we were beaten by a very good side and can't have any complaints.

Purely from a spectators point of view its a bit daft choosing to hold the game at a ground with no floodlights.

Some Westie comments on here might be worth remembering. We may have gone down but we're hardly in "freefall" as some arrogant West fans seem to be suggesting. You think given the fall from grace you lot experienced you'd be abit careful - especially given the obvious step up in class required in North One.

Is there any chance of ending this daft debate?. We were honoured to host the Intermediate Final. The ladies put on some excellent grub for players and alicadoos and the beer tasted ok to me. The lads who came in for their bait looked clean enough but nobody at West would say that the facilities don't need improving. It's something we are working on - but we can only go as fast as other people will allow us.

What winds me up about you is your constant vitrolic postings aimed at our Junior Section and to a lesser dgree the comments you make about Rovers in general.

PS - Most conventional research suggests that Small Man syndrome does not exist and only the term generally only applies to those less than 5' 5" in height (I'm 5' 8" in case you haven't seen me in person).

The perception that Small Man syndrome exists in the first place comes from a misunderstood idea about Napoleon complex based on the common misconception that Old Boney was a shortar$e, however he was of average height but those who saw him often described him as short as he was always seen with his bodyguards, who were substiantially bigger men.

Anyway potted psychology lesson over, I think it's fiar to say that you and I will have to agree to disagree.
