Why is Chris Hyndman not in the squad????

A bloke with Premiership experience and made a massive impact last year in only 10 minutes, scored 2 tries and made 2 for Durham at Rovers. Seems strange but i'm not a selector so guess they have their reasons.

Good luck to all the lads from Hartlepool involved especially Andrew Dixon and Aaron Myers.

I'm not trying to have a dig at rovers but how does michael taylor make it into the starting line-up?

Can't really have any arguments with the squad. The University lads in there look to have superb rugby pedigrees. Taylor from Rovers is a very good player thats why he is there. Billingham backs are very good as we have seen. Many congrats to Aaron and of course the Dixons.

If I were a selector the West players I would also have seriously considered were Davies and Tom Dixon, Jonny Boatman and Rob Thorn.

Have you watched them all season?

there's no doubt that taylor is a very good player, but has he been the best no8 in the county THIS season? that's why supporters are never really bothered about the county matches - because there's seemingly no method to the selection.

totally agree MikeyBoy-county a joke as always-not that the players arent deserving just the selection and the committee need changing desperately. they say the watch league games but clearly not!!

Didn't they win the competition last year?

To play for the county, is the only requirement to play for a team within Durham County?

I think so otherwise Mikey Young would be at 9

Deja vu!
We had the same discussion last year.
Said it was a joke then and appears to be the same this year.
Who are the selectors anyway?

I thought the Rovers backrow were abject; if I were the darker haired Boatman I'd be livid.

Shouldn't the Durham team be Durham lads; Uni students have no place in the team for me.
