Thanks for the update Dave - hopefully it will be on. Weather in West Cumbria has been OK the last couple of days.

Just for anyone who may be curious/interested, looking at Kathryn's lovely photo of the Western fells, here they are, from L to R:-

Hobcarton End
Grisedale Pike
Hobcarton Pike
Ladyside Pike
Hopegill Head
Gasgale Crags
Whiteside (East Top)

The Grisdale Horshoe (incl Grisedale Pike, Hobcarton Pike, Hopegill Head) is a classic, high level circuit and a great day out especially if done from Portinscale/Braithwaite....The Farmers Arms at the latter serving Giant Filled Yorkshire Puds alongside Theakstons BB and Black Sheep Ale - 10/10 :-)
