Many thanks for the steady stream of match reports, previews and live updates from Dave and Kathryn. It certainly brightens up my Saturday which was a killer as Dinamo succumbed in the 95th minute to a lucky Arad goal. (It's footy as the Rugby scene not thriving at the moment.)

Anyway a great win and it's great to see the endless stream of young talent doing so well.

Well done Quinny! I don't know about your dad but your grandad was a first class team mate!

LesterP - bars are all shut thanks to lockdown here but the shack by the lake is doing a decent trade in draught Ursus with chicken and chips for the more adventurous - but he closes at 18:00 (it's all continental here)

I'm shamelessly replying so I have the top three last posts!

The Shack is well worth it and handily the bloke in charge speaks good English and was able to tell me that the bottled beers were non-alcoholic. They have a zero tolerance policy here - same as Scotland - so you have to be careful. Mind you, you do wonder about where your life is heading when you're asking people at work to help you say:
Are these bottles non-alcoholic? as your introduction to Romanian.

It's good that you have found a decent Lockdown Shabeen/Shack Stan. We had a similar arrangement during UK-Pool Lockdown with several Allotment Owners stepping up to the mark and allowing the use of their Cabins for the purposes of Social Activities to Safeguard Mental Health.

In actual fact if you were able to plan it effectively you could have a perfectly good day out and pub crawl between the 2 Allotment Sites of Greatham & Brierton Lane incl Fish and Chips at Fens Shops.

There is always a way Stan. You just need to Stand Fast & Never Surrender !

Stan - I presume that The Gateman used to enjoy the odd 1/2 portion of Cod from Fens Fisheries too ? :-)
