It looks like a great start to the season.
Unfortunately I can't be there as I am now working in Romania but will following by text.
I know it has been a tough time for so many people but we have been cheered by the support and kindness from all at West and the rugby community and are greatly touched by such a thoughtful gesture. Our thoughts are with all those in the Rugby community who have had a difficult time.
Best wishes to all at West and I hope we have a cracking day against the Leds.

Horden and Peterlee certainly is a great trip and their off-field hospitality is wonderful - especially when Big Bill organised the buffet. Mrs Featonby always did us proud. One night their big second row was spotted looking quite disconsolate as we tore into the freshly baked banquet with even the Gateman finally admitting defeat.
'He's just signed for Rovers,' Big Bill told us, 'so he's not getting his corned beef pie this week!' That's top level sport for you!

Stan - great to hear from you & Good Luck in Romania. I'm assuming that you will still get down to Bar Casablanca for a Pint on the weekend, it's just Down the Coast really (Via Rocket Alley) so I'll see you there at 19:00Hrs.

I bumped into a Tongan lad who is playing for Timisoara Saracens. I tried to have a bit of a chat but he was fairly shy - or perhaps he didn't think much of Stan! Anyway, they are still finishing off last season here but I shall update when I have been to a game.
Bar Casablanca sounds good - I'll just check times for the overnight sleeper. Though I am currently an illegal worker here so I might have to stay close to home!
