On this web site there has far been too much joviality and optimism so I am going to start an official moaning thread.

My moan is about the Hartlepool road system

When heading south over the railway bridge on Marina Way and you want to turn left to go down Church Street, the traffic lights are always on red. It should be a filter lane as theres bog all other traffic going down Church Street whilst you are sat in the red light.

I am sure the people who are looking after the interests of the Hartlepool roads are on space cake / wacky baccie

Surely if you are heading south (actually south west) over the level crossing, you would turn right into church street. If you are going left , which leads you down towards Seaton, it is a give way junction and not controlled by the lights?

The Council must have read your whinge and acted immediately.


I past at 2 oclock and they went green, amber, then red. two minutes later they went red & amber then green.


so they are not always on red now.

well done the Highways dept.

Just think - whilst you where sat at the lights at 14:00 and subtracts those two minutes you could have saved if there was a filter lane, you could have posted your post at 14:10 instead of 14:12.

well my moan is when driving down west view road u go under a bridge and to your left it 1 ugly whatever it is i see a stand with no roof 2 sets of leaning posts and now and again the ugliest bunch of chimps ive ever seen so please council block it off%-)

Karlos, thats a proper rugby club not just a school field with a porta cabin as a clubhouse. Ours has history and character (no roof cos were hard) and it was alright when you were made homeless to build houses on your ground (good idea of the century NOT ). %-)

I am going to a concert on the 19th April to watch a pop group called Battered and Relegated.

Apparently they are really deluded and think they are still a good team and live in a time warp.

Their fans are a bitter buch and always slag off the other groups even though their rivals are No1 in the charts are refer to a bygone era when the Beatles where No1.
