Hartlepool Earthquake Appeal

An Earthquake measuiing 2.7 on the Richter Scale hit Hatlepool on Wednesday morning. The epicentre was situated at West View. Casualties were seen wandering aimlessly saying ' arl me things are knackered' and wot the f##k waz tha'.

The earthquake decimated the area causing in excess of £17.50 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of momentos from Benidorn, Ibiza and Blackpool were damaged beyond repair. Preserved areas of historic importance were destroyed and cars burned out. Many locals were woken before their Giros arrived. One resident, Kylie Sharon Smith, a 15 year old mother of four said ' It was such a f#####g shock , our little Chardonnay-Destiny came running into our bedroom shouting ' Uncle Jimmy ' the earths moved for the first time'

The British Red Cross has so far managed to send 4000 crates of Sunny Delight and 10,000 Gregg's Sausage rolls to the area to help with the crisis. rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found numerous Market Cross Soverign rings, benefit books and Poundstretcher ornaments.

How can we help ?

The appeal hopes to raise money for clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in the disaster. Clothing is much sought after. Urgently needed are Lacoste tracksuits, white socks, Burberry caps, Beanie hats and Hoodies.
Food parcels are also needed. These must include McCain oven chips, Aldi beans, Monster Munch and Iceland pizza. Alcohol is also in short supply, especially White Lightening and Special Brew.

Cash donations are also needed. 22p will buy a signing on biro, £3.50 a Large kebab, £20.00 a fake MOT and £16.00 buys 200 Regal from that white van.

Please help where you can.

Thanks for those kind words of support BMN.

At West we appreciate your Grand Stand was severely damaged in the earth quake and so please accept our deepest condolence.

Good luck to you all whilst the repairs are being carried out.

I read that piece on some football website months ago....not very original is it......

I think this articulate and obviously very clever jester, is trying to say that us from the other part of town are not quite as well to do as you lot from the big city, what with your electricity and running water, I heard a rumour some of you even have toilets inside your houses. I personally think that this is disgusting doing your ablutions inside the building that you eat in......

Now then come on Mr On The Lash, remember people in portacabins shouldn't throw stones.

Regards
Finbar

Wrong again OTL..Looks like you have BEEN OTL! Our stand was blown down (the roof)by the wind .Not damaged by an earthquake _Some day it will huff and it will puff and it will blow youre club down..)

Thanks BMN for clarifying the fact that your grand stand roof was completely blown off by the north wind and not as a result of that earth quake the other night.

I wasn't aware of that - cheers.

FRLE, have you been on the cooking sherry??? Not being biased but both Brinkburn pitches are far better. Your right in saying Old Friarage is always in good condition though.
