It was a reasonable question. I don't know the answer but I am sure the way the club is being run at the moment that there is one.
When I used to play the first thing you needed was 15 players.

Its Johnny Mcllellands 18th this weekend and I am sure all the boys are going to get tanked up so half the 4th team won't be there

It is fantastic that the club is running four teams again, back to the good old days at Brierton Lane - except you look on here for the team list instead of the board in the entrance hall.

The only thing is are all 15 lads going to turn up for the 4ths? and what happens if cry-offs from teams above? Are the 4ths going to end up like the Ams of the past 3 years - going to clubs with 7-8 men????

I know for definite some of the lads who are listed on the 3rd / 4th team sheets are not turning out this Saturday afternoon

It would be useful, 'Useful' if you could elaborate. All players have been sent texts and many have confirmed their availability. I would expect those who are not available to let me know.
The facts are that with the number of players that we believed available we named an extra team and found a fixture. If they are not available then they should be letting us know earlier in the week when they know they are not available.
It is called responsibility - both personal and to the club and teammates.

Think you're entitled to get on your high horse Chris.
Having witnessed the efforts that go into arranging opposition, selecting teams, checking availability and persuading me to stop moaning about how long it is all taking I have every sympathy.
It's a rotten job but someone has to do it! And the better communication you get from the players the easier it is.

As for the fourths all I can say is that lots of people spent two season thinking of reasons why the Stags should not join the CaNDY. In the end a few just said to the hell with it let's join and then find the players and the money to give it a go. It has done the whole club a world of good and, hopefully, the "4ths" will do the same.

So is this West 4th team or West Ams 2nds? Your club(s) so confusing.

To pee Tragic off, let's form another club for West 4Ams and enter it into the Pyman Cup .... :oD

From somebody who wishes to get back involved with West having been away at University. What would be the perception if I just turned up at the club in order to make myslef available/ make the numbers up for the 4Ams if they are short?

The perception would be most favourable I am sure.
