Scott Jordan - Broken Leg
Posted by: Brian McMurdo (IP Logged)

Unfortunately, West U16s player, Scott Jordan (Tommy Barff's son), broke his leg yesterday playing for Durham U16s against Yorkshire, at Skipton.
Not sure of the extent of his injury yet, but believe he is at home.

Hard luck, Scott.
Hope you make a speedy recovery.

A very good player and bad luck to the lad. If he's anything like his dad he'll be back playing in a couple of months: or even next week!

Sunday is for the younger players.
Brinkburn is still very busy at 1.30 with hundreds of kids so I don't think it could work even if the players were happy to play on a Sunday.

Just spoken to Scott.
He said it's his fibula that is broken and he's off to North Tees Hospital tomorrow to have an operation to have a plate fitted.
Ouch!

Good luck, Scott.
Hope you like hospital food!!!
