Looking at the scores in the match reports on the left of the page is interesting. We are very consistent in our points scoring in league games.....21-22-21-24-23 .

Might need to start scoring few more tries though looking at our points difference with Aspatria.

it's good that we're managing to put a decent number of points on the board when the backs haven't really been firing on all cylinders (or the matches I've seen anyway). When the handling errors start to be ironed out, the try count will definately go up.

Look at it another way. Played five pretty good sides in Tigers, City, Morpeth, Driffield and Old Crocs an beat em all. That is consistent play against good teams. How many other North 2 East sides would win those five games?

It may be consistant scoring but I've heard grumblings from some Points Westies already.

Why are the the last three messages very little to do with the reasonable debate I was having with Mikey Boy and Chocky's Butler? Too many subjects on here are being hijacked by silly ramblings and drunken reminiscences.

Back to the subject. Interesting how similar our fixtures have been. There doesn't look as though there is much between us and Aspatria so it may just be an interesting season! Still it's early days so let's just take each game as it comes.

I agree with WPA - we seem to have got rid of the tiresome HBL and now it's time for Mr. Q to get his coat! Still not quite recovered from the summer when I was at that ace chippy near Rovers' ground and my tea was ruined by a less than svelte AQ cantering out of the Dark Side HQ.:oD

But back to the debate...... the perple polo brigade are copping it this year though the Gateman seems not to have noticed.
