Think Stags were beat but put up a good performance against a very strong team and the Thirds/Ams won 20 -15. Great win :-D

Heard the Stags lost by 5 points.

Ams game was a great game to watch - It was a real game of two half's with West 17-0 up at half time. In the 2nd half Old Boys never gave up and spend long periods in West's half and at one stage the score was 17-10 but West dug in to secure the win.

Great win for what is a very young West side.

There was what looked like a serious shoulder or collar injury to one of the West lads who was taken to hospital - any one know how he is ??

I watched the game to and it was a good win for the Ams. The injured player was the Graham Frankland who has broken some bones in his hand and possibly his wrist too unfortunately.
It was a very young Ams side, and I hope that the management have not forgotten about the loyality that the old Ams lads have shown to the club over the last 10 years and especially the last 3 when 5-6 players where regularly turning up on a saturday hoping for a game only to be disappointed must saturdays. The older lads deserve a run out too and to be in the starting 15 as it must be harder for the older ones to come on half way through a game. Lets not forget about these lads cos these are the ones which have helped this team survive - they don't deserve to be p*ss*d off on a saturday.

Stags lost 22-17 to a strong Blaydon IIs. Penalty try was the deciding factor.

I think a few of the older fellas just need to get used to a bit of a change that's all. It benefits all concerned.

Dont get me wrong, I can see both sides of the coin here, I am pleased we can now get a team of 25 out each game.

Dont forget I have Granda in my lug all week, if I didnt have a bust arm I'd turn round and clonk him one.

So I aint having a go here, not at all, its taken long enough for this to happen.
