not whinging just stating facts and all the relevant people are meeting this Thursday evening

Quinny. It was the first game of the season and nobody knows which team they will end up playing for. But if the coaches dont see you play they wont pick you and if you chose to play for the Ams last weekend they will think thats where you want to play

There are some good young lads coming up and some of us want to keep our places in the stags cos its gonna be a canny season in this new league.

Never been, Officially we are West Ams but in theory we are still West thirds as it were and hopefully yes we will be putting a team into the Pyman cup. so it looks like we can have it both ways. Anyway who wound you up????

quinny you keep on whinging about the same thing over and over again about that people should have came and played for the ams, but i dont see anyone from the ams coming training and therefore the ams and represented at training so you cant expect people just to show up and play for you, like you say you are still the amateurs and not officially wests 3rd team!

Last season, how many times did the ams call games of so OUR players could play for You????

I recall one such day,

1st home to Horden
Stags away Horden
AMS home Horden.

We the AMS had not far off a full team, Horden 3rds who we were due to play had more than enough players to loan us to make it even sides with subs, but as the Stags were struggling for a team we called our game off and the Ams travelled to Horden to play for the Stags.

This happened a few times last season, If I recall rightly it was never returned it was always the AMS games that were sacrificed.

I personally am so glad I am injured and cannot play.

Ben I know if u were not injured u would be busting a gut to show the "Stag" what rugby is all about. i.e commitment to the cause for the whole club. Hope u get some good news on the arm soon.

Its easy for me to go off on one here, but I dont want to, I know Quinny puts a lot of effort into everything.

But some of the younger ones maybe need to take a look at themsleves,

If the coaches are away with the firsts as they will be once the season starts is there any point in the Stags? as they wont see them play.

Hopefully something will get sorted to a point of everyone being happy, cos so far (including last season) this whole 'all one club' thing aint working.

Its a sad state of affairs when other town teams players are more willing to play for you than players from within your own CLUB.

OOOOPPPs sorry we aint officially part of West are we????????????

P.S If the offer (if the arm gets better) from Knighty stil stands, weel you never know.

andy it was unfortunate that the game was called off but if we have a free sat you are still welcome on the old side.
we know what its like to call games off due to lack of players so can sympathise with you.

stag00000000000000000000000007, most of our lads are over 40!!! and struggle to play each week let alone train!!! I am planning to see them and try to get them out training (those who are able that is). The Ams on lots of occasions last year WILLINGLY loaned the Stags players. For God's sake we even loaned you one of our strips last week so you could play your freindly!!!!!!
