I suppose it depends on what side Doncaster put out - once they had guaranteed promotion did they need to have as many expensive players on the pitch 😉 Or maybe Alnwick just had a good day 😶

So would I be right in thinking that Liam Checksfield may hold the records below:
1. Youngest league player?
2. Youngest Try Scorer?
3. Quickest Try?
Not bad for a 17 year old after 5 games.......might be a worth a few pints when he's old enough :)

If the first comment is true then it is unfair on ALL the rest of the league teams they have already played!! Second comment ""one hell of an exceptional day"!!!! There are other can I say strange results maybe who is turned out by clubs on the last day should be looked into??

Phoenix put out a very decent side looking at their websit6e and dont forget Alwnick have been on some run of from sicne Christmas.
As for Checksie... there is a suggestion that Chris Lambert (another flyer) played when he had just turned 17. I shall have to check it.

Chris played against Darlington shortly after his birthday - I remember they're winger nearly decapitated him 😟
