I was talking the other night to a Rovers lad who watched the Heughers play the Stags the other Sat and he thought the Heughers were terrible, so if we offer Karlos say 10 pies (and a bar of soap) per try we might just win :oD:oD:oD

Yes mate, official, our Fix Sec trying to contact Chris Collins to tell him but i thought best to put on here to let all know as soon as possible. Severe lack of bodies is the reason, we would be lucky to get about 7 out as loads of cry offs for various reasons

Sorry to hear about your problems in getting a side together, unfortunately even if we could get surplus players if they 'guested' for the AM's against the Heughers would they not become cup-tied....one for Mr McCloughlin and Mr Featonby there.......

Perhaps it is time that Hartlepool and District RUFC tried to get this competition on Saturdays at the end of the season, this might help in all clubs being able to get a competitive side out for these fixtures, also with the constant problem of alleged 'ringers'.

However, saying that, given the amount of league fixtures for youselves, BBOB and the Athletic finding time would also provide problems.

Its a difficult one....

Agreed. Lot of the lads cant make Wednesday night games.

i do believe that the pyman cups great draw is the rugby on the barmier wednsday nights of april.
